John Andrew Forward
John Andrew Forward, Jr went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 12, 2018. John is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 38 years: Helen Fairley Forward; son: John Andrew Forward, III; father and mother-in-law: James and Connie Fairley; sisters and brothers-in-law: Juarlene and Melvin Graham, Janella and Marvin Rankin; five god-daughters, one most devoted: Jazmin Henderson; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

His remains will lie in state on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 1- 8 pm at Small's Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 9am until the11am funeral hour at Mt. Olive AME Zion Church, 701 Bella St., Prichard, AL. Interment will follow in the Alabama State Veteran’s Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL..
