Barbara Ann “Baby Cakes” Hickenbottom Drummond ,70, transitioned from this life to eternity on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born to the nuptials of her beloved parents, the late Tommie Lee and Bernice Hickenbottom of Mobile, Alabama, on September 30, 1947.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 18 years, Thomas J. Drummond Jr.; two sisters, Annette Ridgeway and Christine Lockett; one brother, Theodore Hickenbottom.

Barbara leaves to cherish her loving memories: three devoted children, Paul (Darlene) Craig, Angela Monique (Vincent) Brown, and Tasha Craig; two brothers, Leon (Allie) Hickenbottom and Clausell (Lynette) Hickenbottom; two sisters, Juanita Perkins and Linda Sanders; 6 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.

Her remains will lie in state on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 1- 8 p.m. at Small's Mortuary, Mobile. AL. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 8am until the 10am Funeral Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 2 S Claiborne St, Mobile, AL.

Interment will follow in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL.
