Obituary for Ruby Clide Miller

Sis. Ruby Clide Walker Miller was born in Mobile, AL on January 22, 1940 to the late Walter Walker Sr. and Katie Walker. She was educated in the Mobile Public School System, She exchanged her life here on earth for eternity with the Father in Heaven on Thursday, February 14, 2019.

Ruby Clide was preceded in death by her mother and father, Walter Sr. and Katie Walker; three sisters, Mary Lou Holomb, Rosie Lee McKeel and Shirley Wilburn; two brothers, Walter Walker Jr. and Andrew Lee Walker; one great grandchild Bryson Freeman.

Ruby Clide confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Calvary Baptist Church where she served faithful in many capacities of the church until her health no longer would allow her to serve.
Ruby Clide had a love for cooking and worked for Morrison Cafeteria for many years.

Ruby Clide united in marriage July 29, 1959 to Fred Miller Jr. and to this union eight children were born, 32 grandchildrens and 37 great grandchildrens.

Ruby Clide leave to cherish her memories a very caring and, devoted family, husband of 59 plus years Fred Miller Jr., Three daughter, Patricia (Gordon) Clark, Zarniki (Reginald) Weaver, Sharon (Rodney) Bonner; Five sons, Rev. Reginald Miller, Fred (Ashante McCants) Miller III, Steffon Miller, Vincent Miller, Kenneth (Deborah) Miller; A devoted daughter-in-law, Tamara Miller; Three sister in-laws, Mary (Baby Love) Carstarphen, Betty Walker and Leona Walker; Three aunts, Sara Johnson, Annie Coleman and Thelma Henderson; 32 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends who loved and cherished her dearly.
