Ray Anthony Johnson was born on December 13, 1960 to the union of the late Nathaniel Sr. and Valla Johnson.
He transitioned from earth to eternal rest on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at University Of Mobile Hospital.
Ray was joined in Holy Matrimony to Willette Curtis on November 24, 2000. He was a devoted husband, father, stepfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Ray was preceded in death by Linda Johnson, James Ray Johnson (Dep), Harry Tucker Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 19 years: Willette Curtis Johnson; five sisters: Comlena Stanton of Los Angeles, CA, Mary Johnson of Fairhope, AL, Patricia (Levi) Brown of Loxley, AL, a devoted sister: Shannon Johnson, Jan (Jimmy) Bryant of Fairhope, AL; three brothers, one devoted: Nathaniel Jr. (Gwendolyn) Johnson of Daphne, AL, Jimmy Johnson, Sr. of Daphne, AL, Tony (Zelma) Johnson of Mobile, AL; two children: Sidney Ray Curtis of Mobile, AL and Comesha Orr of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren: Sidney Ray Curtis, III and Kosey Curtis both of Mobile, AL; three sisters-in-law: Luvontrick Curtis, Helen Young (Wosley), Lawana Curtis, all of Mobile, AL; one aunt: Martha Heard; one uncle: Gene Heard; devoted nieces: Vonesha Johnson, Chante Hardy, Tequil’a Mason, Charm Curtis and Dude; devoted friend: Mark Williams; a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friend.
