Gloria Jean Anderson was born to the late Dwight and Mary Anderson on June 30, 1975 in Mobile, AL . She
attended and graduated from Baldwin County High School in 1994. She departed this life on March 9, 2019 at
North Baldwin Infirmary in Bay Minette, AL. She was a hard worker and a devoted mother, servicing her
children with dedication and commitment.
She is preceded in death by her father – Dwight Anderson and mother – Mary Anderson.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: one son Derrick McCall Jr. two daughters; Tamesha Anderson
and Derricca McCall. Two brothers; Anthony (Dean) Andrews and Thaddies (Benita) Andrews both of
Atmore, AL. Three sisters; Meleasa Anderson and Vivian Anderson of Bay Minette, AL and Dwynetta Palmer
of Loxley, AL. Two uncles; Donald (Lillie) Anderson of Mobile, AL and Marcus Anderson of Bay Minette,
AL. Eight Aunts; Serleana Betts of Bay Minette, AL, Carolyn McCall of Mobile, AL, Linda Clopton of
Georgia, Bettie William, Alice Anderson and Sue Porter all of Bay Minette, AL, Wanda Clemmons of Detroit,
MI and Lora Anderson of Daphne, AL. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Union Missionary Baptist Church,
955 Carroll Avenue, Bay Minette, AL at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until
11:00.
