Ericka Jeaneen Reese, 33, a native and resident of Mobile, Alabama, was born on February 15, 1986.
Ericka departed this life for her eternal home on Monday, May 6, 2019 in a local hospital. She was a member of Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church.
Ericka leaves to cherish her memories three loving and caring children, two daughters: Melody LaShay Reese and Charmony Jazzelle Gibson; one son: Umjairell Lacy Reese all of Mobile, Alabama; biological parents: Deborah R. Moore (David) and Eric J. Tate both of Mobile, Alabama; raised by grandparents Lillian T. and Walter (deceased) Sawyer; one sister: Tericka R. Moore; two aunts: Bertha Fisher of Mobile, AL and Charita Cook of Birmingham, AL; four uncles: Brandon Scott, Charles Smith, Frank Reese of Mobile, AL and Anthony Claiborne of Philadelphia, PA; godparents: Mary Lee Chestang (deceased) and Gemal Chestang of Mobile, AL; devoted friends: Charles Gibson, Chantol Powell and Linda Taliaferro; a host of cousins, other relatives and many loving and caring friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church, 1050 Duval Street, Mobile, Alabama.
Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery,1700 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Mobile, AL.
