Charles Ohara Boykin- A resident of Mobile, Alabama, exchanged life for eternity Thursday, February 21, 2019. Mr. Boykin was a Merchant Marine who enjoyed his travels throughout the world. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Lucy Bidges Boykin and Willie Boykin and his brother, Timothy Boykin. He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife, Annie M. Boykin; one son, Damon (Rochelle) Simon; three grandchildren; three great grands; one sister, Geneva Boykin White, of Buford, Georgia; six aunts; five uncles; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces; two devoted, Michele Sanders of Mantva, New Jersey and Kelly Mosely of Mobile, Alabama, cousins and friends. His remains will lie in state on Friday 5pm – 8pm. A visitation will be held, Saturday, March 2, 2018 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Small’s Mortuary Chapel, Mobile.
