Obituary for Barbara Relinda Dodds

For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

Barbara Relinda Dodds born August 17, 1944 a native of Trinidad West Indies, she exchange life for eternity on May 13, 2019 at her residence In Mobile, AL. surrounded by her daughters.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ishmael Dodds and Mary Alice McNeil Dodds, brother Gibson Porter and Lucinda Samuels.

Barbara retired from Kateri Residence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Manhattan, NY
She was a God-fearing Christian who loved the Lord and her family dearly.
Our mom was truly blessed with the gift of cooking, baking, and caring for others.
Mom catered to many social events over the years as working her 9-5 job to provide for her children. Hard worker, honest, Very patient, kind and considerate putting always others needs before her own.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son Anthony Mitchell Trinidad, WI, three devoted daughters Sharon (Broderick) McCants Sr., Charmaine Roberts and Denise Roberts, son Arnel Mitchell, Osborne (ex-spouse) Mitchell all reside in Mobile, AL. Sister Louise James, Christine Dodds, brother Bruno Phillips reside in Queens, NY

Grandchildren Andre (Brittany) Black reside in Austin, TX, Broderick (Analisa) McCants Jr. reside in Mobile, AL, Samantha Inniss reside in Birmingham AL, Andrew Peters reside in Mobile, AL, Roland (Sumayya) Mitchell, Kathleen Mitchell and Christopher Mitchell reside in Trinidad and Tobago WI
